In this week's episode, the forensic team was quarantined because they operated on a victim suspected of infected with Kolbena virus from Algia (where is that?). Everyone basically was worried, while the Chief showed more signs of suspicion when he caused his youngest post-grad student injured (poked with the needle during an autopsy). The victim they were operating on could be infected with hepatitis.
Spending the night at the forensic lab
Kamatsuda is apparently afraid of injections xD The only light comedy from the drama is the bickering between her and Oodate.
The post-grad student who hasn't dated anyone for the last 26 years (yes, he mentioned to the girls at the goukon he attended the night before ^_^), now feared that he might be infected with hepatitis. Will we see anything blooming between these two?
Meanwhile, Kamatsuda developed feverish symptoms with rashes as well as difficulty to breathe. All of which are the symptoms to look out for in Kolbena virus infection. The emergency incident whereby Nakura had to rescue her, caused him to reflect on his true feelings towards Kamatsuda.
"I love you too" - The words that came out from his mouth really showed some character development in Nakura. I'm not that annoyed by him anymore as before.
Thoughts:I feel that this episode was an improvement from last week's. We get to see a lot of character development especially in Nakura and Oodate. Both of which have their own set of minds on certain things. Nakura has become more attached to Kamatsuda due to the incident. Oodate also realized how important her family is, especially the son whom she barely meets due to hectic working lifestyle. The phone conversation near the final scene was quite touching. That said, I'm giving this episode a 8/10!
