*Something I transferred from my private personal blog*
I've always liked Liam Neeson's movies. Always of the same genre. Action, thriller or mystery. And he's always playing some loving father who is trying to rescue his daughter or something, in this movie, he's a desperate husband who's trying to find his identity back.
This is going to be a really short review.
Liam is good, not excellent, but enough to lead the suspense. You can see his desperation. There is a twist at the end of it, though not extravagant, but 15 mins towards the end, it might take you by surprise as everything is revealed. Not an action-packed movie either, a few car chasing here and there, pretty good moves, but not enough, if you're into action. As for the other characters, Diane Kruger plays well as his partner (not relationship) but someone dragged into the whole mess by some coincidence. As a whole, it's an okay movie, nothing to shout about. I was slightly disappointed with it as the imdb rating is quite good, but not enough to wow me in the end. Still, I'm always looking forward for any Liam Neeson movies in the future.
Just Go With It is a comedy. Any Adam Sandler movie is a comedy. Maybe not all, but most are. And I think it's cool to have Jennifer join in this time. I haven't laughed this much for a comedy in a long time. Some scenes in this are just downright hilarious, and you don't have to try to think of the facts, if you just take it as it is, you'll enjoy it much more. Both...these two have great chemistry. So with this and also Jennifer's longtime arch enemy played by Nicole Kidman, it's a good one. If you're looking for something to laugh about, this is for you. I think Adam did better than his last movies.
