Don Quixote [ep 5]

This week's episode is as entertaining as ever. After both Chief of Welfare center and Sabashima's right hand person, Hyodo realized something was off with the two lately, both Sabashima and Shirota decided to watch videos of each other in order to become more similar to their original ways.

The episode is also where Ayumi gets the chance to shine. One of her past workers had been abandoning her child at home without proper care. So Shirota told her to get the child welfare's involvement and for the first time, Sabashima got to see Ayumi's motherly side. He also found out that Ayumi actually wanted a child but considering his business and the fact that he didn't like kids, she suppressed that wish.

It's a really good episode for both Ayumi and Sabashima. I pity Sabashima for being trapped inside Shirota's body and having him hear about Ayumi's wish, that was pretty sad.

Thoughts:

As usual, comedy never dries out for this show, so far at least. It's fun to see how both Shirota and Sabashima tried to act normal at the beginning but still, in the end, kinda returned to their own self. Ayumi's side story gives her chance to develop the character further and the wish to have a child was a good one. This is also the first time Sabashima worked so hard and went all his way to ensure the kid was saved, for the sake of Ayumi. He now knew how much his wife actually like kids and wanted one for the longest time ever. So, I won't be surprised if he ever returned to his own body soon, we see him with kids in the future. That'd be sweeet though.
